No. I don’t even know what that is. I spend very little time these days on blogs/sites that aren’t our own. I have enough trouble keeping-up there, let alone wandering out into the wilderness, where I’m likely to get a) Mad, b) Cold and lost.

Your time comment is interesting. I’m just the same way. I have worn a deep rut in a warm, comfortable, and smallish corner of the internet.

Dennis Prager uses a similar philosophy on his radio show. When confronted with a caller or interviewee who repeated ignores his points or seemingly is not listening to him, he will then just help them to whittle their point down to a concise statement or two. Prager will often state that he prefers clarity over agreement.
I’ve started to do the same thing. When I talking to someone who just refuses to listen to me, I’ll just try to restate their position and have them help me to understand it. I may not agree with it, but at least we will know where each other stands (or at least I’ll know where they stand, I can’t make them listen to me).
